A Note from Laura
The publication of Perpetual Care is, for me, a life-long dream come true. To see my words in print and to know that the story which has so enchanted me over the last couple of years will now be read by the world, well it's just a priceless feeling. For it has truly been a journey, not just the making of this endearing story, but the making of my life as a writer. I have come to learn that our dreams are always possible if we only believe in them enough and apply ourselves to the task of achieving them, no matter what obstacles stand in our way. For when our passion is coupled with innovation, doors begin to open. Sometimes they open on their own accord, and sometimes we have to kick them off their hinges!I believe we each have a story to tell. A unique tale with which we are entreated to share. I also believe that when we listen to one another long enough to hear each other's story, regardless of our differences, we begin to see a blending of humanity. Humanity that really isn't so different after all. Maybe when we start to listen, really listen to one another, we will begin to find peace in our world.
